Special issues of Telecommunication Policy

The conference organisers would like to draw your attention to the two special issues of Telecommunication Policy, the ITS journal, that have been proposed.

The first special issue is 'Regulatory approaches and investment in new communication infrastructure'. This special issue focuses on how new investment in new communication infrastructures could be encouraged, and how such networks should be regulated. Approaches to encouraging infrastructure investment differ around the globe, as do the regulatory approaches that have been adopted. As such, the special issue welcomes papers on a broad range of issues relating to infrastructure investment and its regulation.

If you are interested in publishing in this special issue, you can download the Call for Papers or contact Wolfgang Briglauer (wolfgang.briglauer(at)wu.ac.at) for further information.

The second special issue focuses on consumers in telecommunication markets. As consumers are presented with unprecedented choice in competitive markets, they must also cope with the associated complexity and uncertainty. The special issue welcomes papers on a broad arrange of topics relating to consumers, including pricing, quality of service, privacy, fraudulent behaviour and consumer protection.
